As can be seen in the images below, Palmyra is one of the most difficult DXCC entities for CT Land.
With opens only at dawn, it requires close attention to DX Clusters and careful study of propagation. Good working conditions also increase the chances of success, large beam antennas, low noise locations and power. All in all, one should have time to be on the bands and a bit more.

Tal contrasta com as proximas Dxpeditions a South Sandwich Isls VP8STI e South Georgia Isls VP8SGI - cuja equipa já se encontra a caminho (indicativo VP8IDX/MM) , a bordo do famoso navio Braveheart, actualmente a navegar a Sudeste das ilhas Falkland. Esta operação deve começar , das SS, em 17/01 (até 27/01) e de SG de 1/02 até 11/02. A localização destas entidades é particularmente favorável aos CTs, como se pode observar das tabelas de simulação de propagação (relativamente ao grid locator IM58jq) anexas...Boa sorte a todos os DXers!
This is contrary to the forthcoming DXpeditions: South Sandwich Isls VP8STI and South Georgia Isls VP8SGI, which have already the team on the way (VP8IDX/MM) aboard the famous ship "Braveheart" currently sailing SE from the Falkland Is. This operation will start from SS on 17 Jan until 27 Jan and from SG on 1 Feb until 11 Feb. The location of this entities is quite favourable for CTs is it can be seen from the tables below calculated from grid square IM58jq. Good Luck to all DXers !
